How this site works, in plain terms.
A referral service
RoaneCountyLandClearing.com connects landowners in Roane County and western Loudon County, Tennessee with independent contractors. It does not clear, mulch, grade, grind, haul, or burn anything, and it does not employ the contractors it refers.
How the site is paid
Contractors pay to receive referrals or to advertise here. Landowners never pay the site anything.
One contractor per request
Each request is sent to one contractor who serves your area, not to a list of companies.
The contractor is responsible for the work
The contractor you hire is responsible for their own licensing, insurance, permits, pricing, workmanship, and warranties, and any agreement is between you and them. Tennessee requires a contractor license for projects of $25,000 or more; you can check a Tennessee license on the state's Verify a License page before hiring.
Not a government site
This site is not part of, or affiliated with, the Tennessee Valley Authority, TDEC, the Tennessee Division of Forestry, Roane County, Loudon County, or any city. It describes their rules and links to their pages, but only those offices can approve a permit or say how a rule applies to your land.

Calls to the number on this site may be recorded for quality and to confirm referrals.
